The Tengchong Beihai Wetland Folk Culture Festival in 2014 will be held in Tengchong Beihai Wetland Scenic Spot from October 1 to October 7, 2014. The event is sponsored by the Tourism Association of Tengchong and Beihai Town Government, and undertaken by Tengchong Beihai Wetland Eco-tourism Investment Co., Ltd. The purpose of this cultural festival is to make extreme edge culture of Tengchong known to tourists visiting Beihai Wetland, enhance the overall tourism connotation of Tengchong tourism, combine the scenic spot with folk culture, and build the comprehensive brand of Tengchong tourism products.

I there are 17 booths in the exhibition area, including Tengyue Sanbao, Liujiazhai Shadow Puppets, Xingyang Village Oil-paper Umbrella, Lisu Clothing, Tengchong Farmer Paintings, ethnic instruments, Fuyi Bamboo Weaving, Tengchong cloth shoes, embroidery, calligraphy and painting, jade, clay pottery and other Tengchong folk art.

II During the cultural festival, a number of intermittent Tengchong folk shows are held every day in the scenic spot.

III A Bite of Tengchong: During the cultural festival, the Tengchong local ethnic cuisine and snacks street of the scenic spot provides ethnic cuisine and snacks such as Tengchong bait, pea flour, basa, Shunjiang meat rice noodles, Mingguang small ear pig, cold drinks and a variety of pot-stewed fowl.

The ticket preferential policy of the scenic spot is as follows:

1. The entrance ticket of the scenic spot is in a 20% discount during the event, namely RMB 88/ ticket.

2. For this exhibition, the tourists from Baoshan District (except the ID cards of Tengchong county) can enjoy a 50% discount, namely RMB 55/ ticket with their ID cards.

3. Local tourists from Tengchong County can purchase the local discount ticket as RMB 10/ ticket with their ID cards.
